Country Jam USA Puts Out the Call for Marketing/Communication/Promotions and Graphic Design Interns


Looking for an internship in marketing and/or communications?
Join our All Access Crew and have a blast promoting and participating in Country Jam USA!

If we choose you as a team member for Jam’s All Access Crew, it will be your job to engage with fans and promote Country Jam USA at events. Country Jam USA has some of the hottest acts performing at the July 2012 Jam including Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins, and Luke Bryan.

Jam’s All Access Crew team members’ responsibilities will include:

  • Attending events/promotions in your area.
  • Online and offline promotions before and during Country Jam USA.
  • Distributing information about Country Jam USA.
  • Office assistance - gaining valuable marketing experience. 
  • Help create a social media buzz at promotions and online.
  • Co-Lead Jam’s All Access Crew activities at Country Jam (July18-21)

This is a great opportunity to work with Jam. You will gain leadership and marketing skills while working with a fun group. You will also receive the coveted ALL Access Pass to Country Jam for the full event and co-lead assignments like interviews with artists and much more.

Don’t wait - applications are due no later than March 15th, 2012. We will be hiring 4-6 interns. You must be able to provide an average of 10 hours per week working with a virtual team and office hours. It is required that you attend and participate in the Country Jam event in Eau Claire, Wisconsin July 19-21, 2012.


Having your own smartphone, computer, and internet access is a preferred for this opportunity.

 

 

 

Graphic Design Intern

Local Graphic Design student to Intern for Country Jam USA: estimated 10-15 hours per week through the event July 19-21, 2012.  This is an unpaid opportunity.

 

Expand your portfolio and gain valuable experience by designing art and copy layouts in the fast paced industry of music event planning.

 

Graphic Design Intern Job Duties:

  • Prepares work and plans concepts by gathering and studying information and materials.
  • 
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy following specific aesthetic concepts: arrangement, overall size, type size, and font styles.
  • 
  • Obtains approval of concept through a series of predefined editing procedures.
  • 
  • Prepares finished copy and final layout by operating typesetting, printing and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
  • Completes projects through coordination with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • 
  • Contributes to team effort by assisting with related duties as necessary.
  • 

Skills/Qualifications: Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools (Adobe Illustrator Preferred), reliable transportation and drivers license.
